I'm still stocked. Getting a bottle of Glenfarclas 25 for my 25th birthday in March, might get a nice discount after the holidays

I have had a bunch of Weller but still looking to score my first Blantons. I have seen the bottles before but didnt know how good it is so I never got any. Hopefully that will change soon.
Hey Jim,
Just saw your reply. One of my best friends came over this weekend so I opened up the bottle of Stagg Jr and completely agree. Very unique and full of complex flavors. We got half way through the bottle and I enjoyed very much, will definitely be picking up more to keep in stock. Yea Blantons is pretty good and one of my go to drink. Takes some effort to find, at least at retail and not the crazy online prices of $100 or more but it's rather worth it. Would recommend you try. Cheers

Hey Chad, how you been friend? Been away for work just got back this weekend so haven't spoken in a while, will text you soon to chat. Nice pickups on the Pappy. I've been to two lotteries myself but so far no luck. I did find the bottle at another store but they wanted 2.5K for the 23 year

However thanks to you and your recommendation, I did try the Stillhouse Black Bourbon on Sunday and was actually pleasantly surprised, pretty tasty stuff. talk to you soon

I enjoy the Glenfarclas. It punches above it's weight.

One good thing about being retired and camping in Florida and moving all around the coastal towns. I get to see lots of liquor stores. Here's today's score from a Golden Ox. He didnt have it on display but had it in the back office so it never hurts to ask.

My fav.. and I’ve had many from Pappys (highly overpriced even at retail) to blantons is by far Rare Breed from wild turkey . It’s a blend from Russell.. I think it’s 8,12, and 16 or similar . It’s stunning. It should be 2x the price . Another great one is Noah’s mill. For Irish whiskey I like redbreast.

Oddly the 12 is far better than the 16. This is one of the last family owned distillers in Scotland I’ve been told. (Glenfarclas).

It's been a good month for my Whisk(e)y habit... found the Game of Thrones Scotches and am on the lookout for the last 3... even though I'm not a huge Scotch drinker, I may just keep them as a set... who knows?

The Johnny Walker 18 Gold Label was a gift from my mom. She found it in my dad's old work bench, along with an extra bottle of Oban 14. We killed the oban on Christmas Eve. I have too much scotch at this point... JW Blue, JW Green, Oban 14, Oban Distiller Special, Macallan 12, Glenfiddich, and a few more that I don't drink...

The Colonel E. h. Taylor Small Batch I just found on a whim today, as I was looking for some wine for New Year's Eve dinner. Couldn't pass it up, as I only see their rye on the shelves and this was the last bottle... The Weller was also a surprise when I found it, although I definitely overpaid. It is quite good, though. The Four Rose's is not rare or particularly unique, but is delightful, and it's a barrel proof single barrel, so every bottle i get is slightly different. Just a solid, quality bourbon.

Lastly, the Blanton's is a second bottle that I have been looking for as a backup, since it is so difficult to find right now, which means I can now open and enjoy my first bottle.

Not pictured is the Kentucky Own Bourbon Batch 8 that I am hopefully picking up today, if I can get there in time. If not, it'll have to be the first acquisition of 2019!

A touch more special then just SW Juice, it's Green-Glass LBurg SW. Pretty rare and desirable. A green glass 20 year is the one of the best bourbons to ever cross my lips.

The New Years Eve party I attended last night had Macallan 12 sherry oak and 12yo Yamazaki. Nothing wrong with that. It was a fine way to ring in the new year.

The thrill is in the chase. But once you have it, booze is made for drinking, not collecting!
I drink it all.
Well, eventually. I have at least 5 years worth at the moment.
