1989 Rolex Ref. 16570 “Chicchi di Mais” Explorer II. Watch is one of the very early 16570s and lume has taken on a custard color. Hands are original tritium which have aged lighter. Watch is running +20 and 290 amplitude – no beat error. My guess is it had a fairly recent service but hasty, to get ready for retail, but was not properly regulated. Bracelet has N3 date code with 12 links. Things to note hands have some mild cracks in the hour hand. Small chip on crystal at minute 29.
