Any opinions on David Yurman?

Looking for an honest opinion on David Yurman watches. I saw the one pictured, called the Belmont, at a David Yurman retail store at the mall.

Picture taken from their website. Also from their website:

Movement:
• Swiss automatic self-winding chronograph, ETA 2894-2.

nice watch but IMO i think it's more of a style high fashion watch that will not be a
"time less" design unlike Rolex's.. they last forever or Patek,or RogerDubuis,Cartier,Breitling, ect ect..

If you just like the watch for what it is and have money to throw around then buy it and plan on dumping the watch in 3-5 years.. those style bracelets do not hold up well over years to come, it will need replacing if they still even make that style watch by then..

When it comes to watches i only buy sure things, I look at it as an investment and I can at the same time have fun with.

sharp looking watch in any case.

cheers.

I like the look, and like their jewelry, but Cartier aside, I say leave the watch buying to watch companies, and not jewelry manufacturers. Just my humble opinion.

Thanks for the feedback - I'm of the same opinion that David Yurman is a jeweler not a watch company - just wanted to hear if anybody had some other experience.
