How do I extend the bracelet on my new Sub?

Guys,

I have extend bracelets many times with other watches and even my other Rolexes, but this bracelet extender for wetsuits is throwing me for a loop.

My new TT Blusey has 12 links and I believe that is all it should come with. However I can't for the life of me figure out how to extend the bracelet. I need about about 1/8 - 1/4 " more length for it to be really comfortable.

To me it seems like the clasp is set to the furthermost holes and usually that is what I would do to extend the bracelet, but the extender folds back under and so I am a little confused as how to do this. I don't want to wreck something.

Any help would be appreciated. Photos posted for reference.

Thanks,

Richard

Is it a serious question or are you kidding.....

Anyway you need one link more and make the extender 1-2 holes closer in the clasp.....

Good luck!

Great Easter

I thought my question sounded serious! You have been drinking too much again Axel!

But, but, but! Do these timepieces come with 12 or 13 links? Anyone??

If I do need another link, is this the one I need?

Does it go on the 12 or the 6 side, or does it matter?

It appears your extender is already deployed. Its that stainless flat link. Its made to fold into the buckle when not in a wet suit. Yes you may want to add a real link so you can fold the extender blade in the buckle again.

The bracelet is way too large with the extender deployed. It's when I fold it under and locked it that it is just a little too tight.

Can someone tell me whether this Sub should come with 12 or 13 links? That just might be the issue.

Thanks,

Richard

The sub is supposed to come with 13 full links and one 1/2 link.
**I think**

Yep. There is the problem. It should have 13 links, not 12.

Off to find one...!

Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for. I know that the links are different in taper and size.

Perhaps you can look at my photos and tell me which one is missing.

Anyone have what I need for sale?

Hi,
Am not drunken....
Bracelet should come with 9 links and 4 + 1 half link.
You should add the additional which you showed on your picture on the 12 side
Great Easter

Your Sub appears to have 12 and 1/2 links which is incorrect, it should have another link...

To adjust you move the spring bar to any of the 4 outside holes, and the snaplink end will snap into the corresponding inside hole..

Yours is already at the outside of it's adjustment so if you need it any larger, another link is the only answer.

Thanks tools! Looks like I need another link. Sheesh!!!

Some are saying 13 1/2 links and other 12 1/2. Which is correct?

I mis-typed.........The Sub bracelet you have should have 13 1/2 links... I assume that it is a used model and somebody has taken out a link for sizing..

Thanks Tools!

When purchasing an extra link, how do you know which to purchase? I would hate to buy one and then find out that it won't fit due to it not being the one that is missing?

Any ideas?

A new link from an AD will be $250.

All the removable screw links for the TT Oyster are the same... the only change-over is from the hollow center link to the newest solid centers.

Sometimes the first link next to the "hook" link is the one taken out, and then you lose the older "O" marking on the back...but it is pretty irrelevent and is identical except for that mark..

On the contrary, the number 13 is a lucky number for me. I was born on a Friday, on the 13th day of the month, on the 13th month of the year!

Here are some infos I came across about the # 13:

Fear of Friday the 13th dates back to Nordic Mythology. Many of their thirteenth Gods met with violent deaths, such as Loki, the trickster.

Ancient Romans regarded the number 13 as a symbol of death, destruction and misfortune.

There were 13 original colonies.

A witches coven consists of 13 members.

Tarot Card number 13 is the Death Card, depicting the Grim Reaper (although it is read as transition or change and not literal death).

Hotels rarely have a room number 13. Usually it is called 12a or 14. Same with floors of buildings and the elevators without a #13 button. Highways sometimes will skip exit 13 altogether also.

There are 13 steps leading to the gallows.

13 knots in a hangman's noose.

Lizzy Borden uttered a total of 13 words at her trial.

13 feet which the guillotine blade falls.

The driver of Princess Diana hit pillar #13 at Place de l'Alma when she was killed in Paris, France.

13 people, Christ and his 12 disciples, were in attendance at the last supper. This is where the Christian belief ties in, making Friday a believed unlucky day, as the crucifixtion occurred on a Friday.

Beware naming your children with 13 letters in their name, they may be cursed for example, Jack the Ripper, Charles Manson.

Certain ocean liners will be held in dock until after midnight to appease passenger's fears on Friday the 13th.

British study concluded that even though there were less cars on the road on Friday the 13th (as compared with other Fridays) more accidents were reported.

Trisadekaphobia is the technical name for fear of Friday the 13th.

E Pluribus Unum has 13 letters.

The US Seal has 13 stars, bars, feathers in the eagle's tail, 13 bars in one claw, 13 olive branches in the other.

On the USA Dollar Bill, there are 13 steps on the pyramid, 13 bars on the shield, and 13 leaves on the olive branch

A "quatrorzieme" is a professional 14th guest hired by the French who had only 13 guests in attendance for dinner, who felt that was unlucky.

Apollo 13, 1970, the 13th mission launched from pad #39 (13 x 3), mission was aborted, after an explosion occurred in the fuel cell of their service module. The rocket had left launcing pad at 13:13 CST and the date was April 13th.

Hi Richard,

I've sent you a PM which please read very carefully. Your bracelet configuration is all cockeyed!!

See pic below. This and ONLY this is the CORRECT ORIGINAL factory assembled bracelet that comes straight out of a brand new box fitted on the watch. Anything else is BS!!!

Notice NINE links + 1 FLAT link on the '12' side and only 4½ links on the '6' side. End of story!!
