Me too. Yet, the OP is classic when it’s essentially the same thing.

Yet, I sold my Explorer but ended up adding an OP that I’ve had for years.

I have to have both. But to be honest, If I'm in a formal situation (proper Tuxedo environment), I prefer a Calatrava on the wrist. Even "full" gold "prezzies" don't feel quite right in properly "smart" attire.

But hey, that's just me.

That was my confusion, too. What makes the Explorer 1 a professional? Is it the black dial, or the 3,6,9 numerals? I suppose it’s the intended purpose…..
