Anyone have a Sinn 556?

Sinn is running a “sale” before a price increase. I already own an IWC Mark 18 which is very similar, but I may sell it after the pandemic.

Not the 556 but I have three Sinns and I'm very, very impressed with the quality of them. And that's not with the qualification of "at that price". Just overall, they are wonderful watches.

I have a Sinn 856 UTC, so a bit different but still in the family. What questions do you have?

My watch has been fantastic. Not the prettiest, but it’s probably the one watch I will never sell.

That said, the IWC is the better looking watch imo, and at 40mm it’s a much better size. The 556 at 38.5mm is a bit small for me. If you like the size of your IWC, I believe there’s just a plain 856 w/o the dual-time function. It’s also 40mm so will wear similar to your IWC.

I have a Sinn 556 i mocha. Also have the fine-link bracelet, though the watch is on an Erika's Originals 'Sahara' strap with brown stripe right now.

Really nice watch for the price, movement looks great, case finishing great, nice case size and design. Thickness just right.

I have a 556i on H-link. I can't think of a better every day watch, especially when cost is factored in. Great time-keeping, 200m WR, drilled lugs, h-link bracelet is very comfortable, diver-extension for some reason, decent enough lume. I love mine, great looking on any strap but always just perfect on its bracelet.

Love my 757 UTC. So many useful features, lots of cool tech, and built like a tank. Really appreciate the no nonsense vibe.
