5712r buckle
I’m curious as to why buckle is oddly shape, not to say it does not fit comfortably but why is each side of the buckle shaped differently

I had a similar buckle on my Breguet, it was very uncomfortable and left an impression on my wrist every time I wore it.

Something doesnt look right with your clasp OP. Maybe its the angle of your pic but once its folded together and snapped shut, the curved side sits against your skin.
