Why don’t we have an exclusive Vacheron Constantin discussion forum?

I thought VC was one of the holy trinity and one of the most sought after brands? Curious on why it doesn’t have its own discussion forum in “Other” here in TRF like Patek and AP

Standby for 14 posts in support.

The overseas thread is the unofficial VC thread here.

It's the Rolex Forum, everything else is "other".

I lobbied Steve for this a couple of years ago.
I was told there is not enough interest to warrant a dedicated forum.

Gotcha. Maybe it’s time to re-evaluate? lol I know from my circles that VC is getting more traction and they have been getting more watches from the brand.

It's always non-Pledge members who lobby for new discussion forums for some reason. Chances of a VC forum are very low, simply because there isn't that much interest. We'd be more likely to start a Casio G-Shock forum, this being the 40th anniversary year and the fact that it's extremely innovative and a very popular line worldwide with all kinds of watch guys. Since we've only added Seiko/Grand Seiko in the last decade or more, that's also pretty unlikely though.

Understand completely.

That's a good idea

I would be in support of a VC sub-forum. How do we know if there is insufficient interest? Are we tracking searches/visits of the VCO thread/other?

but there is enough interest in Panerai to warrant its own subforum?

I assume Panerai sells significantly more units than "one of not many" VC (though to be fair, kind of wondering who's still buying a new Panerai in 2023?).

That said, count me in in support of a Vacheron Forum!

Many people, who may have tastes different from yours (but not for this worse of better).
Panerai has a community of estimators among the largest and strongest of the entire watch sector and several dedicated forums.

Getting back on topic, I would welcome an exclusive VC section!

There you have it. Less than 15 replies after a day. Meanwhile if someone asks blah blah Daytona scratch plastic toothbrush soap they'll get 125 replies in a day.

I am in support too. It is hard to judge level of interest when typically people are just returning to the Official Overseas Thread.

I’d also enjoy a specific VC section but I’m not sure how popular it would be.

Me too. It would be great to have a VC dedicated forum. I’ve been more into the brand and found some interesting research on vintage VC. They are definitely more than just VCO unlike AP which is just a uni-product brand.

I have an overseas chrono and a RG 1921. The 1921 is such a cool watch, highly recommended.

I have seen multiple topics started asking the same thing over the last couple of years. Consensus has always been positive.

Likely that both Breitling forum members would glad to no longer be in the minority also.

Not yet but inevitable. I would support the idea of a VC-specific forum.

Of course. Had a black 4500 and some 56’s but sold them to fund a 1955 CDV.

I don't believe I've ever clicked on the panerai forum on purpose...but always look at VC threads personally
