Awesome duo. Do you mind sharing the model/reference numbers?

Thanks in advance. I’m not very familiar with the GO lineup, and having trouble identifying the diver in particular. Love the aesthetics.

Jumping late into this excellent thread: I'm starting to look around for a 50th birthday watch for myself (about 1.5 years from now)--and have been drawn to GO. I really like the clean dials combined with the "chunky" cases.

I'm especially interested in the Senator Excellence or the PanoReserve or PanomaticLunar.

My main question is whether these watches are suitable for everyday use. I'm a university prof in the liberal arts, and don't have much occasion to dress up. Business casual at most.

An alternative on my mind is a D Dornbluth & Sohne, which has a similar aesthetic, but a less dressy one, I think.

I'd appreciate your thoughts!

Thanks!

I'm pretty much cemented in 'business casual' and the PanoMaticLunar is surprisingly versatile and works quite well as an everyday watch, even on days where my attire leans more towards the casual side (polo, sweater, chino/jeans)

Thanks, mchu004--This gets at exactly what I was wondering. Really glad to hear that the PanoMaticLunar works in the kind of environment I exist in.

How do you like the chunkiness of the watch? That's part of what--based on pictures--I find so appealing, and part of what lends it some informality.

I don't wear mine with shorts and a t-shirt but it works great for me in business casual attire. I think Jocke tends to wear his almost as a sport watch when he has it on the metal bracelet.

In my mind, it remains a more formal piece compared to a pure sport watch, but it can be dressed down to jeans and a shirt.

Thanks, Themast--that makes sense. It's just such a beautiful watch, that I would want to wear it all the time, but I'm not sure my general life is "right" for it. Sigh--still imagining and thinking...

The chunkiness definitely adds to the less formal feel of the watch, but more for presence than for "sportiness".

Here's a photo "dressed down"

Wow, quite a GO collection. I must say that I was not too fond of the green PML but it looks fabulous on you!

I am not usually attracted by two metals watches but this new SeaQ looks extremely nice. I still wished they squeezed a panorama date in the smaller SeaQ but this is tempting.

Very nice, congrats!

Is it brushed gold? I like the bronze look.

Thanks- yes, its totally brushed, so it tones down the watch to some extent. I'm waiting on a black sailcloth strap to make it even more casual.

Excited to finally join this thread have had my eye on a PML for some time and finally got yesterday. It's just so much nicer in person than any picture I've seen love it

Now to find the black leather to go with this I'll be all set!

Considering that half of these were likely Jocke's pictures this says a lot!

This watch is just stunning, but you need a large wrist to pull it off. My wrist is 8.5 inches and I barely pull it off imo.

Joined the GO club a few weeks ago. This watch has kept many of my favorite pieces off my wrist.

Man! that is a beauty. I promised myself after I bought my Seaq I wouldnt buy any watches. But I have become a massive fan of this brand. Makes me realize my Rolexes are so average.
