Smooth bezel is such a clean look and goes well with the jubilee bracelet IMO...

Rhodium is the best looking Datejust dial for me!

I've been debating the blue or white for a while now but now people have mentioned silver, that's growing on me. I hate having to choose!!

I'd go with rhodium, a good match for a classic piece.. Blue suits a sports watch better IMHO.

I love the Rhodium, almost went with black but glad I stuck to the Rhodium. I like it b/c it goes with my day to day work attire (shorts/t-shirts), I can wear it with a suit, jeans and t-shirt, whatever...

That being said the blue is great too, I don't think it will clash with anything personally. People will notice the watch, not that it doesn't match a certain color shirt or suit. Just my opinion. get what you like. One last thing, I love the jubilee and while I like the smooth bezel I prefer the fluted b/c I think it will hide scratches better.

All the photos here look extremely attractive! Hard to make a mistake. I have a SSDJ41 w/white sticks (fluted, jubilee) and my wife has a SSDJ41 with blue dial (smooth, jubilee). They both look great! My white dial can go anywhere from my tennis match to a my daughters wedding with a tux. My wife wears her dj daily and has an older, ladies ttdj and a TT AP Royal Oak for more formal occasions.

Get the one YOU like and enjoy!!!

I agree. I have blue and it clashes with nothing! I think people have a misconception about this. I wear navy and gray suits and would not want any other. If I wore black, which I guess would be worst case, it looks perfect. If I wore a navy suit, wouldn’t think twice about a black dial. But also agree many look great. Love the white it really pops. Love rhodium and silver, classics. Love black as well. All great watches.

I don’t wear suits unless it’s an occasion.
Most of the time I’m in jeans and a short sleeved T-shirt.
I’m going to phone round all the ad’s and pre owned dealers I can find at the weekend to try and find all colours, don’t really need to see black, ideally blue but definitely rhodium.

When I wear jeans, it really really works. Your configuration is perfect for it. Keep us posted!

Hi, recently I have been thinking to get datejust 41 fluted jubille band, but still can't decide which color. Blue is the best option, but I have blue dial on other watch, such as YM 40mm steel and Millgauss. How does it looked with white dial? I am still considering between white, rodhium or wimbledon.

I have the bluesy, also blue, doesn’t bother me because I only wear one watch at a time. I really do like white, it just like the contrast of the darker dial more of the blue. Just saw a white datejust 41 at my AD last week, looks great! From those 3 would pick white.

So I’ve ordered this..
Blue baton dial
Smooth bezel
Jubilee bracelet.
I love how it looks but I’m a bit worried the rhodium will go with more clothes.
I’m not a suit guy, usually a T-shirt or sweatshirt and jeans.
A few guys on here have assured me it will go with anything but I’d like to see some pics of the rhodium spec of anyone has some?
My AD only have a rhodium dial with fluted bezel and diamond markers and I can’t get a good idea of it from that.
Thanks.

Blue for me ... it is my most admired/complimented watch

I prefer the blue. Unless you were getting the Wimbledon dial. It has enough contrast with the green accents on the rhodium to look interesting enough for me. I find the plain rhodium, silver, or champagne dials kind of boring. Especially since you do not often wear professional attire. If you were primarily a suit wearer I would have the opposite advice.

Rhodium for sure. Just not a big fan of blue in watches.

Both are great. I prefer rhodium to blue in the OP 39 because I love the little blue dots that accent the rhodium in that piece. Without those...in the DJ I prefer the Blue but it's close.

I know this isn't a choice but I've nearly bought the silver dial a number of times. Blue and Rhodium are right behind..

That's because it looks shiny and sportier. For those who want a dressier watch rhodium will obviously be a better fit. For more sporty look with jeans and a tee, go blue!

Datejust 41 blue or rhodium???? Post Rhodium pics please

Depends on what else you have. I have a blue YM and a blue DD so if were to buy a DJ and choose among those 2 colors would probably be Rhodium sticks dial with flutted bezel and jubilee bracelet
