I guess what one wears depens on taste. Some young like to dress in old fashioned way or things generally liked by older. Which is also true the other way. Seen a guy just few days ago who was in his 70's and if I haven't seen his head I would have guess it was a hipster guy in mid 20's. So, really, depends on tase. I wouldn't be able to pull it off, but if you can. Good for you :)

The thing with TT is that it goes well with a bit of silver hair.

I met a ear veteran with a SS sub, he was an old gentleman. Had worn his sub for 30 years

I don’t think he cares that youngsters use SS hahaha

And he shouldn’t

I had a TT fluted DJ on a jubilee at 26. OP, you're fine. It does feel to me like TT are coming back into style these days so wear it with pride, it's a beautiful watch.

There really are no rules, but if there were IMO the first would be buy and wear what you love. Simple.

That said, I've been collecting for more than 20 years, I grew up watching my dad collect watches my whole life. From a collector's and enthousiast's standpoint, SS has been "cool" for a LONG time. Especially with Rolex, you'd have to go back 40-50 years to find the days of Rolex literally giving away daytonas with Gold DDs lol.

Anyway, you get my point. Stainless Steel popularity is not a passing fad. It's been around a long time.

I love you TT Daytona. I would wear it in a heartbeat. But then again, I am about 15 years older than you.

I’ve only been “collecting” (if you can call it that) for about 3 years

So I’ll take your word for it

Thats a good looker..I'm not a TT or Daytona fan however I've never seen a TT Daytona that looks bad. To be more clear Daytonas look great in Two Tone. Age doesn't matter either, my first Rolex was a TT DJ when I was in my thirties and many younger dudes like my nephew who is in his early twenties is jonesing for a TT Rolex but due to his funds he's most likely pulling the trigger on a S&G Tudor. YG jewelry never died and YG is also more popular again in watches. Enjoy!!...

Big... Big mistake. But I want to help, send the watch to me, I’ll even pay for the shipping.

No, no need to thank me, just trying to help out a TRF friend

I buy because I love. I have worn a YG DD since I was in my late 20s. Who cares
