Jubilee looks better...until you turn it over and see the Oyster-style buckle that doesn't match the Jubilee look at all, especially if it's TT. Worst ever styling decision by Rolex, IMO.

If I were 23 again, I’d be smooth bezel and oyster all day.

The fluted is too ‘out there’ on a DJ41 (for me). On a 36 ... that’s another matter.

I see no reason why you can’t have any combination... I mean you have jubilee on proper sports watches ffs !

The oyster PCL bracelet is a joy to behold. Sporty ish &
just enough bling. But I also really like the jubilee/smooth combo & would like to pick up a jub some time ..

Fluted on the oyster bracelet is my favorite combination. I feel like it gives the DJ41 a dressed up “sport” look with the oyster bracelet vs. the jubilee.

Depends. Where I live jubilee isn’t an option. It screams Rolex. So for me, Oyster. For looks, jubilee

I don't hink there is a better look than a jubilee with a fluted bezel when it comes to datejusts. To each their own but whenever I see one that isn't that configuration I wonder why they didn't get a milgauss or explorer.

Jubilee all the way. Both bracelets will get scratched with daily wear, it's a fact of life, but the Jubilee *conceals* the scratches more effectively.

Personally, I never worry about stuff like that but it's something to think about I guess. Good luck either way.

All jubilees look like they were born with natural stretch/large gap between links right from the factory and that would trigger my OCD. The links on the oyster look much tighter together/closer spaced and appear to be built to a higher tolerance.

I like the smooth + oyster combo best. Im also in my 20s so maybe this is a "younger guy" preference as many people have mentioned?

With a fluted bezel I think the Jubilee is a better match.

There is much more than what meets the eye :) I already got an Explorer and Air King 16900, in fact it is a Milgauss case). Jubilee and flutted bezel is way too much bling for me. It is all a matter of personal preference and what else is there in one's collection. Besides I've chosen a smooth bezel datejust 41 on jubilee and with that gorgeous blue dial as I already have a vintage two tone Tudor Date Day (7019/4) with flutted bezel and wanted a modern and elegant watch with the right amount of bling.

Once you see the way the light hits a Jubilee bracelet in person, its hard not to pick it. Especially at an AD where they have very bright lighting.

At 23 I woudl say the oyster as you can dress it up or dress it down. and it's more youthful. Jubuliee imo is less youthful.

Oyster looks better. No comparison. Jubilee won't show scratches however....that I do agree with. Amazing how it camouflages that. I like the fluted bezel /Oyster combination and it reminds me of the Sky Dweller. That's what I would get. Looks younger with the Oyster bracelet....sportier and more versatile. Jubilee is more of a dress watch....much more 80s Wall Street look. Dated IMO.
