Changing the Date

I recently got a 1979 Oyster Perpetual and noticed that when I go to the change the date, there is only two clicks instead of the usual three I'm used to when you pull out the crown. Is that correct on older models? Like to get the date correct, I'll have to wind the hands until I get to the correct date.

I always have fun time after Daylight Saving Time ends if I do not stop wearing my non-quick set watch for a coupe of days before "Fall back" occures.

Yeah, if you want quickset date or day/date vintage try Seiko from the 1960s
