Rolex Releases 2021

With the recent release of the new Submariner, does anyone think that Rolex is going to release any new models/updates in 2021? With the release of the OP41 I wonder if the EXP 1 could get an update in the new year

Sure, I don't see why not, they do it every year. Not only should the Exp I get the latest movement, but 2021 will mark the 50th anniversary of the Exp II, I would expect a commemorative model to be released, in the Rolex tradition.

Air-King, Milgauss, Explorer and Explorer II are all ready to be updated with a subtle new look and new movement. Failing that we may see the discontinuation of the Air-King, the Milgauss or both.

I’m hoping a platinum SkyDweller will be released in 2021

Explorer 2 next year. Why? Because it hits the magic 50th anniversary.

Then prices would become really crazy on them, just like happened with the discontinuation of the 116710LN

Update the Exp2 sounds reasonable. But with Rolex you never know

All GMTs to the same case as the new Sub. YM goes to 42 inches all around. deep Sea goes to 6km down.

I’ll say X1 is discontinued.

You never know with Rolex but the Explorer 2 seems like it's in line for a refresh due to the anniversary. Explorer I, AK and Milgauss are probably due as well (some may be 2022?). I wouldn't be shocked to see the MG and/or AK discontinued. I think the Explorer I update will be subtle. I would love a matte dark green dialed explorer II.

The Explorer 1 getting the new movement and a design tweak seems the obvious update

And if they release a white dial version people will lose their minds

That would make sense. An enlarged 41mm Exp 1 w/an updated movement and a refurbished Exp II ( maybe w/Trip lock and Glide lock? Now THAT would be a watch to wear...) .

I believe someone is hoarding all the Turnographs waiting for them to skyrocket in price.

I doubt it. This year was a pretty big shift. Plus, the Explorer was recently updated.

Pulling back on the maxi case and bringing back retro dials makes me think they may make another heritage move next year. Not sure that that will mean. Looking forward to it though, either way.

I hear there’s going to be a Yachtmaster but with the green dial of the old Hulk. That’d be great.
