Awesome watch - it seems to have incorporated the latest innovation and style without any real loss in the 'toolwatch' concept, i.e. best of both worlds! Really pleased with mine!

I had been originally considering the new Sub 114060 although some aspects of it did give it something of a 'bling' feel to it, albeit not to the same extent as some other Rolex models. The 'tool' aspect swung it for me and I would recomemnd to all.

Still not ruling out another Sub to go with my 1680, but will probably stay vintage.

Great review but I suggest that (if you own it) you remove the picture of the explorer right before section 3 because the picture has the serial of the white dial one.

Hadn't noticed that... luckily, that white dial is not mine but one the AD had in stock. Phew!

Maybe a Mod can edit the pic?

I can vouch for the accuracy of the 3187 movement (I know it also depends on regulation, winding, wearing habits, etc)
Over the past month, it has averaged at -0.2/day
I think we can call that 'dead on'

Interestingly, it is the first watch that I can recall running - and not +
