Dream come true
Hello All,
I finally realized a childhood dream today by picking up my first Rolex at a local AD. Couldn’t be happier with my decision. Lots of thinking and pouring through posts on TRF brought me to achieve something I’ve dreamt about for many many years. I’m excited to finally be a member of the Rolex family and I look forward to learning more from everyone here. Just a quick post to say hello. 👋

Congrats. Now a days it is hard enough just to find an AD with a watch to buy.

and what model did you get? Did you get it at the AD in Portsmouth NH?

I grabbed a stainless Sub date in Portland. Pretty sure they’re the same company as Portsmouth though.

Agreed. I’d been searching for a couple months and had been put on the list at respective AD. I received a call last night just before closing. Luckily they still had it this morning when I called. The woman said it never made it to the case.

You’re not kidding. This was the first Stainless sub i was able to find within a few hours drive. Thankfully it was closer to home.
