Awesome review thanks

Had a quick question maybe you could answer for me, since the M series LV does not have either the new Parachrom hairspring or the new Rolex shock absorption design, what series would have these features? Thanks.

Awesome detailed review. I didn't like the LV when I first saw it. Now it's really growing on me and I want one!

I guess what I meant to ask was whether the V series sub has the new hairspring or not, Thanks

I have a Sub LV also. Got it in Oct. 2007. Wear it all of the time. Gets tons of compliments.

I can't find any LVs in our local ADs here in Sacramento. I better get one before they disappear.

I'm fairly certain that the V series does have the Parachrom spring, M series (mine) does not.

Best,

Chris

I love the LV. Sold my first and soon realized what a mistake I made. I made sure to get another.

It maybe a fairly old thread, however it is a great review. Besides I just placed a deposit on mine just yesterday. I think it about time I get a Sub.

A Submariner is a cornerstone item for any watch collection. The decision if you get only one, then, is do you go Sub no-date, stainless Sub with date, Sub LV or a Sub in two tone or gold?

The stainless Sub with date is one of the most commonly seen of the Rolex line, and for good reason. I rather liked the idea of having a Sub that was a bit different, and I have not regretted the LV and am glad to have that model over the regular black dial/black bezel Sub.

Many thanks for the kind replies on the review, I enjoy writing them. And I always look forward to writing another one......

Best to all,

Chris
