After reading through the comments, it seems like getting a watch via the "waiting list" is a crapshoot unless you buy a lot of watches. Not much hope for someone who just wants one watch.
It is encouraging to see those that are getting the call! |

TT CHNR, SS BLRO
Registered interest (they call it): AP RO 15450 Blue, AP RO 26315st white/blue Probably will wait forever for the APs. Will be happy to get the CHNR within 12 months. |

41mm Sub LV. Content with what I have, so no rush. Bigger issues in the world to worry about just now.

Waiting for a GMT (7 months and counting). I’ve been told BLNR or BLRO before the end of the year. Fingers crossed...

SS Daytona - 3 years and counting, I doubt I will ever see one. :)
WG OF Daytona - over 6 months, Mayors in Orlando was trying to make me leave a deposit because they claimed they could order one, but a different AD had mentioned that was now an allocation piece. I am no longer interested in this as this opened my eyes to other brands. |

BLRO or BLNR. I have been waiting one year so far with my local AD. I recently started having the itch again so I put my name in with an AD in another state that I have bought a piece with previously. Who knows what will happen but I let both parties know that I am interesting in either GMT. I haven’t tried called around to more AD’s but will do so if I really want to get after acquiring a piece.

I’m waiting too, when you guys call your AD and ask for your sale rep what do you talk to them about ? I hate to bother them as I’m sure they get plenty of calls, i’ve also right now of jewelry to clean and batteries to change on my Tag’s. I also don’t think it Polite to just be blunt and ask.

It’s definitely work, lol I laugh because if you would have told me ten years ago “ hey your going to be in a great position to buy a Rolex and a house” I would have said GREAT ! But no tells you that you won’t be able to get them because A. your money is no good at the AD Without the relationship and B. You’ll over bid on a house and still lose it because someone that payed less then you waved the appraisal lol . WTH lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, I just start to purchase more timepieces this year and plan to keep all of them for long. I got very lucky with Rolex, my SA at the boutique gave me the chances to acquire many hard to get in the short time.

I'm not waiting on anything, I picked up a Submariner last month, this is such an awesome watch and one which I am enjoying wearing a lot, so for the moment I am not focusing on getting anything else.

Still waiting BLRO. I've been waiting almost 2 years now.
Last August I was offered TT CHNR after 1 year of waiting but I turned offer down. |

I put my name in at my AD a little over 2.5 years ago for a white 16500. About a month later i purchased a SubC date. I was completely cool with waiting then. Also expressed high interest in a GMT when they were released. I am now starting to get the itch so have been dropping by a bit more and talking with my SA on a GMT or Daytona - i am hopeful ill have something prior to by birthday in march 2021!
