No dial specified on new warranty card?

Just got a nice watch from a grey dealer well known on this site. Got a complete set, the warranty card unlike my other watches just has a model # and a serial #. No dial specific or bracelet. He also told me that the watch was from USA not over seas. Is that normal on new cards?

Have to agree and unless the warranty was activated by a official Rolex AD when buying grey it's doubtful the person buying will have a Rolex warranty.

I've had bracelet reference #'s on pretty much all of the ones I've had. Unsure if it's for anything that isn't black or blue, however I've seen dials being on cards annotating if there's stones on it

Perhaps regional differences ?

Currently 8 different Rolex watches, some with stones and various dial colors.
Only type and serial numbers on the card. All bought in the EU.

Nice thing with Rolex is you never really know for sure

That's all the info on my card plus handwritten date of purchase.

I got confirmation the new model cards only specify serial and model #. My other 2 watches have dial on them some have bracelet also. I guess thats the old version according to davidSW. The cards now have a electronic chip in them.

I think we’re talking two different issues here. With the old, non-chip cards, certain countries/regions would have warranty cards that omitted the bracelet code and dial details. USA cards seemed to always have all the info.

The new warranty card design, that includes the chip, only shows Model and Serial number.
