IWC Mark 18 vs Sinn 556a

Both on bracelet.

Which one would you pick as a daily and why...

Cool, Yeah, I tried on a Mark 18, LOVED how it felt. Have never tried on a Sinn 556a, b/c they aren't in AD's.

thanks Dr Robert. Great song, by the way.

Tricky, I'm a big IWC fan, but I also think Sinn offers excellent value at a third the cost, and the 556a is a very attractive watch...visually I prefer the 3-6-9-12 dial of the Sinn, but I like the brushing and polishing on IWC's case better and IWC know how to make a great, easy to adjust bracelet. The new push button micro adjustment clasp is superb....
if I had my heart set on the IWC I'd get that, it's a safe bet when, as you say, you can't try the Sinn on first. As there's plenty of pre owned examples of both floating around, might I suggest buying both and flipping the one you least like ?

Mark XVIII on bracelet no doubt. Great history, incredibly legible and the bracelet is both very attractive and INCREDIBLY comfortable.

Black dial for the most classic look, or blue if you want/"need" a blue.

I'd say SINN is more robust. It is water resistant up to 20 BAR or 669 ft compared to IWC's Mark XVIII 6 BAR.

But of course, depends on how intend to use the watch
