Great point Jon. I bought mine at a reasonable cost and really enjoy wearing it. It is a very versatile watch to wear, both casual and more dressed up.

5960p-001 Grey unloved

PVR, Jon, thank you so much for the detailed explanations. I complete agree with you. Having both the grey and blue is best of both worlds, grey is discrete and blue is striking, so it depends on what the mood is for the pick of choice :). The 5960 is such a practical watch to have, it’s a pity Patek launched it during a period of multiple changes, the huge price hike between 2010 to 2011 (see photos), the change from Geneve seal to Patek seal, the mecanical issues, all contributed to the destiny of the 5960 which could have been such a great watch!

I dont like the cap pushers and stick hands w/dot lume. If the pushers were integrated in the case or were flat with a lever side press action I would like it more. The stick hands remind me of my 1960's Omega Constellation.

The complication is amazing, but aesthetically I feel needs improvement

Had a black dial and let it go.
Just didn't do it for me.

Vipes, what’s your experience wearing this one in real world in terms of thickness?

One at my AD that they may discount…not sure if enough to be near market.

Had one years ago. Never really bonded with it. Kind of wish I had kept it now though.
