728 incoming!

Hello fellow degenerates:
First Panerai Purchase - originally wanted a 00537 a few years back, other pieces/brands took my interest away. Then turned to the 00688 which I couldn't get my hands on (discovered it just after they all sold out), and was then holding out for the 01537. While waiting for this....... I discovered the 00728. Switched to a Blue Rubber Strap (originally was going to do Black but the Blue has a lot more character and I have a bunch of Black rubber bands for other pieces)and bought a Black/Ecru Calf Assulmante to swap since I'm not really loving the Blue Alligator. Love the watch and the ultra thin (Panerai ultra thin...) Due piece. This will get some heavy wrist time!

Such a beauty Eric! I LOVE that dial. I had the pleasure of seeing this piece while I was in Floerence last month.

Wear it in good health

i'm a blue dial enthusiast (have a Daytona 2-tone Blue with a Rubber B with blue and a AP 26331 Blue) so couldn't pass this up. And in reference to many of the other Panerai threads here on the secondary market - this may actually hold 60-70% of its value at some point in the future if I ever get bored - the asking prices for the 688 are absurd! Not that I buy anything to sell but we all have the disease and fantasize. Thanks for the good wishes. Super excited it fits under a typical dress shirt and doesn't look oversized. I know thats the appeal for many with Panerai but with dainty wrists like mine, I just can't pull it off!

Very nice but please don’t wear that bracelet with it. You’ll scratch the case up. Congrats

The wait for the BMG-tech is killing me (weeks - months - years ???) so I've just ordered myself a 729 to ease the waiting pain...

cheers
