Thoughts on legitimacy

Hey all, new to Patek and have a chance to buy a used one. Is there an online source to check legimacy or can I post pics here for opinions?

Thanks

Buy the seller - always. If you even have a remote question about who you are buying from, then don't buy there.

I buy at auctions. What auction are you looking at? There are some PP that I will NOT buy at auction due to the very good fakes, youreally need to do your due diligence. You will need to see casebacks (for case numbers and Ref Numbers) see the movement for movement numbers and lots of photos of the case from lots of different angles. Does it have a PP strap? PP buckle? Any box or papers? Also make sure that the photos are HD. CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION!!!!

Thanks, appreciate the tips. Thee are a few pics including one of the movement but truthfully I do not know Patek that well. I'm trying to do as much research ahead of time as I can and will look very closely at the auction preview.
