Incoming Snowflake....

Not sure how the Rolex fans will feel about this but I recently made a trade plus cash for a GS Snowflake. I traded my GMT II I have had for five years and bought new.

I liked the GMT II but rarely wore it over my other watches and fell in love with the GS and it’s movement since I saw it last year.

Should have it in tomorrow and will post pics....

As in GMT+cash for a Snowflake, or the other way around? The Snowflake is a spectacular watch, but you damn near could've scored two of them for a GMT. I own both, and the GS is a better watch IMO, especially if you didn't need the complication. Looking forward to a wrist shot.

I have the SBGE249 which is the blizzard dial GMT. It's less than half the cost of the cheapest Rolex GMT but if they were the same price I'd choose the GS allllll day long it's just a much nicer watch in my opinion.

I got the money and the Snowflake for a GMT II, just to clarify!

Got more than I paid for it, and am more than happy with the deal.

Also a huge congrats from me!

The snowflake is a gorgeous watch and I am sure it will be on your wrist most of the time.

I own several GS 's but also own a Rolex GMTII. The GMTII is a wach I like but never wear.
I am a 99.9% GS wearer but still would not want tol sell my Rolexes.

Hopefully no regret down the road...

I liked it for the prestige and because it was my first luxury watch, but I am also a big proponent of if you don’t wear something, why own it?

That’s not to say in a few years time I may not miss it, but I Have been obsessing over that Snowflake for over a year now.

Very nice watch indeed. Congratulations. If I didn't own 2 GS watches already, I would be seriously tempted

I have a BNIB Snowflake coming in as all. Very stoked as I LOVE white dials; I already have a Polar XPII and a Datejust White dial. The Snowflake will easily fit in my collection.
