Hope it turns all well for you!
this is very smart.

So sorry to hear this, whilst I live the other side of the UK,I have been on a couple of nights out in Blackpool.Church street is probably one of the worst roads in Blackpool!!This area is seriously run down and the alcoholics and drug users in this area were the subject of a 'fly on the wall' documentary.
I really hope you get this sorted,I just find it rather 'fishy' why a buyer would source a watch such as this, from yourself with the imposed taxes bringing it into the UK,it would probably work out the same to buy one here.It just comes across as a 'scam'

Kind Regards

Nigel

now it is under review with pay pal and I don't know if I will get my money!!

So here it is, my watch (because it is not paid for) is stolen and here is the
model and serial number in case he tries to sell it.

114060 2015 NEW IN BOX serial #394V12G5 from canada

He is in UK and will be trying to sell it there or maybe on line.

BEWARE
Hi

I have had this happen to me before when buying a watch, except I was sent an empty envelope.
I opened a paypal case and they found in his favour? I appealed made an action fraud report and the decision was reversed in my favour.

The weight of the parcel is irrelevant to paypal. They are idiots. I had this arguement with them many times during that claim. If you contact paypal tell them your history, show them your video etc then you'll be in with a chance. If I see any ad's on ebay or gumtree I will let you know.

Personally, the person who did this to me, I found their house address and faebook and was ready to pay them a visit had paypal not decided in my favour.

You should have at least left a note on his door.

That usually gets a person's attention.

I would have, had I not got a paypal refund. All worked out well in the end I guess.

Just thinking about it now, I visited blackpool just 2 months back for the first time but went during off season

Good luck with the case. I'm guessing you did insure - at this stage, you do have a stolen item whether it was the buyer or someone within the shipping process. Time to file a claim.

Hi Guys thanks for your help!
I have some good ideas now with the picture of him.
I did look at his linken page and thought of the boss angle and friends or parents etc.

I cant say everything i have done to this point because I gave him a day to straighten things out because of things I had as evidence. And the police involved to this point.

And today I got an email about Pay pal needing more info from him after I sent in the video. I also showed them the other 5 new watches I sent out the same week. and all made it there as new in the box!!

I had several because of the low cnd dollar here right now, but Rolex is upping the price next week.

Keep you up dated and Thanks again

So we will see what he does now.

Just two questions - did he claim directly with Paypal or did he contact you first?
And what is his claim - got an empy sealed box or opened (tampered with) box?

The UK post office is not totally trustworthy. Many times I've had money stolen from birthday cards in certain parts of the country. If you had a corrupt sorter along the chain you might be doing the guy a disservice. You may yourself end up in hot water by spreading his name over the google results.
I hope insurance pays out for you. Let's face it, the guys not going to suddenly say, oh no, I can see a watch in the box.

He went right to pay pal
I just got a email from pay pal that said
a dispute was escalated! So I had to see what dispute?
Then I seen the claim of empty box.
Today pay pal sent an email stating they had requested more info from him.

I sent him an email with a chance to fix this before the police get involved etc...
He did not respond.

So know I am waiting to see what he will do.
I assured him I would not stop till I get what is mine.

An honest buyer would have called or responded to me first or at least answered my email.
He would be very angry if he was telling the truth LIKE I AM!!!!
So I am sure I have the right here to go after him.
Thanks for your input
I have thought a lot of how to go about this.

This is the quote from pay pal

2/27/2015 12:31 GMT-05:00 - Buyer: I have received the parcel but the watch box was empty.

So it does not sound like the shipping box was tampered with
He is just trying to steal.
