It's not that I didn't consider it. I had always dreamed of owning a PM Daytona on OF. It was my grail. The problem was I didn't think I could afford one so I never requested it. It seemed like an awful lot of money to spend all at once. But after I did the quick match on what I had already purchased last year, it hit me on the head that I had already spent far more on a few less expensive watches than one PM watch. What a dummy I was.

You made the right choice. I always preferred PM over SS timepieces.

Congrats--great looking watch!

Hopefully you don't fall into the trap I did--once you go PM, steel is never the same. Now I only focus on PM watches which works great because the waiting lets the funds rebuild up!

Yeah, I was a little worried about that too.

I think you made the right call. Nothing quite hits like a PM watch, especially a gold Daytona

Agree. Out of all of the different metal and dial configurations on OF (there are 12 of them), this was THE one I was after. So pleased my AD came through for me for the exact one I was looking for.

Amazing! Love the sundust. I have the previous pink dial version and the more I see the sundust I really like the contrast between the sundust dial and everose case. Really nice.

Thanks. And yes, the two colors pair very well together as well as the black sub dials against the bezel and OF.
