FS: Rolex Explorer I, Ref. 114270 D Serial with Papers from 2006
This piece was originally invented to endure the harsh environment of Mount Everest, and in 2020 will exceed at shopping for groceries online.
This looks reference is right at the end of Explorer 1’s before they were modernized with rehaut. The serial dates to 2005 or 2006, and it appears to have been sold on June 9th, 2006 to a lucky individual who did not seem to wear it much. It still has the original paperwork. The edges of the case are sharp and crisp. The watch is running at COSC. 36mm no lug holes case; 20mm lug width Automatic hacking quickset 3130 movement Thick and even case in excellent condition Stainless steel oyster bracelet with almost no stretch (some light wear and scratches (see pics) Beautiful dial with superluminova lume and sapphire glass Watch, papers, just missing a box (easy to find on eBay) Asking $4995 + a label (firm). No trades please. Wire only on this watch. |
