New 38mm ROC: Updated pics from Switzerland
Quote:
The PCL on most Rolex watches gets way more scratches and shows more than my RO and I wear my RO more than any other watch. 4 month of 5 days a week wear and trust me I’m careful with my watches but I don’t baby them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

So if the 38mm chrono has the same bracelet, I'm not sure I could pull the trigger. |

No, man it's most definitely not. I compared my 15450 next to my Sub LVC, and there was no comparison in either bracelet wide (the way the 15450 tapers) or in the case size. Those who say the 37mm RO wears like a 40mm Rolex SS sports model need their eyes checked.

Not over yet, nature boy........I'm going to get definite confirmation when I speak to my boutique guy next week. He's the one who sent me the pics from SIHH.
If it turns out that the bracelet looks ok b/c the case is bigger, then maybe it's still doable. The date placement doesn't bother me too much, like it does some others. The bracelet width is the bigger issue. |

New 38mm ROC: Updated pics from Switzerland
So the new roc 38 is the same size bracelet as the 15450. I am assuming it shares the same size as 15451. That’s a really small bracelet imo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If they are pushing the ROC 38mm as a true unisex model, then this is understandable. But having owned the ROC 39mm, there is no way I would want to downsize to the 38mm model.

I agree. I tried on the 37 we have for kicks, that bracelet is SMALL! Is the 39mm bracelet the same as 41mm?

I never really thought about the bracelet size. Thanks for pointing it out. Btw, is the 15202 or 15300 has a bigger bracelet than 15450? |

I don't think it is. I don't have any references to hand, but I think the 41mm bracelet is slightly wider than the 39mm, as it needs to fit the wider case construction. I can't remember if there are the differences in tapering and thickness.

I prefer smaller watches in general but i would not recomend a 15450 for >6.5 wrists. It would be a good fit for '6 ish or below. Pic with my 15450, 116500LN and 14060m |
