Crafter Blue Straps for Seiko Divers

Hey guys. I recently acquired two crafter blue straps for my seiko turtle as I have become a big fan of the Rubber B strap on my Submariner and wanted the same integration with my seiko.

Been very pleased so far with the strap. I did a quick video review on my you tube channel if you are interested.

Looks great!

I've read some say it can be uncomfortable due to the strap angle coming out of the lugs. Guess it depends on size and comfort certainly is relative.

Crafter Blue strap is very comfortable!

I like it. I’ve never worn it on a blazing hot day, so I ‘d like to see how it works under those conditions. The lug attachment looks good and does not adversely affect wearability and comfort.

I think the band ranks high in comfort. I don’t think I mentioned this in the video but after wearing another month, i find the the steel keeper does move around a little more than I prefer. I wear my watches a little more loose than some and I do have to adjust the keep more than I do with other straps that have rubber or leather keepers.

This is the problem I had on the MM, SKX and the Shogun. So I gave up on them.

The other issue was the keeper. It wouldn't stay in place at all.

Cool idea though.

Great video op

I’ve only had mine for a couple of months. But all is well so far.

Really like the Crafter Blue on my sbdx001. So much so that I kept the strap after selling the watch in order to find the purchase of an sla017. I hope to one day pick up another sbdx001.

That yellow strap looks great! Awesome summer vibe.

I tried the CB strap for a MM I owned, but there was a project design problem with the placement of the spring bar holes in the strap and it didn't stay attached to the case. I imagine they solved that over time, as many seem to like the straps these days.

I’ve got one on my SRP777. Looks great, but not nearly as comfortable as the OEM silicone.

My Sumo went direct from the box onto a crafter blue. As such, I don't know how it wears on the bracelet. Love the crafter blue tho.

Crafter Blue Straps for Seiko Divers

I have a blue one on my Srpa21 and absolutely love it, extremely comfortable and really raises the overall look of the watch. I’ve just ordered 2 for my Skx007 & 009...the black and red duo colour strap for my 007, and the blue and red duo colour for my 009.....these compare in quality as the Everest straps for my Rolex, and are 1/3rd of the price.

Just posted this on the green sumo thread - my sumo on a crafter blue. My only complaint is the keeper would sometimes pinch my arm when I put the watch on.

Nice!, although the MM300 strap does indeed fit the MM200 case...albeit is a tad thick near the lugs, it doesn’t bother me any.

Have the navy blue CB on my Turtle SRP773. There’s times I find the strap uncomfortable. However, not enough that I don’t want to wear it.
