Looking to upgrade to 2017 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona

I purchased my first Rolex last year which happened to be the Submariner 116610LN from DavidSW. I'm currently looking for something new and wanted to get your guys opinions on the 2017 Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. A few models of interest are the 116518LN and 116519LN. I really like how the Oysterflex Bracelet gives the Daytona that sporty look without taking away from the actual watch. Your thoughts?

I'm on the list for my 116519LN. Deposit made! Not sure how long I'll be waiting. AD said possibly 6 weeks. I'll believe it when I pick it up!

That's quite a short wait compared to what many others are experiencing. The average wait time I was quoted is around 5 years.

My bad, I mixed up the models in my head and got confused .

Still, 6 weeks isn't too long for such a beautiful watch. I'm not a big fan of the flex bracelet on the Daytona, but I have to say that the face on that reference is magnificent.

those two models are the best in the entire daytona lineup to me. I think the WG is the best of the two though. To me the oysterflex is what makes these so attractive. I am not a fan of leather on a Daytona at all. Bracelets are nice so i get the appeal of that, but the oyster flex changes the look entirely. To me, it changes it in a good way.

I like the looks of the new Daytona's on the rubber strap but would not pay the money required for ownership. On a bracelet, yes I would. My current favorite Daytona is the WG Daytona with the blue face. I have never seen it in person but the pictures are strong.

IMO all Daytona models should have a Oyster bracelet and not a leather or rubber strap.

ive got to be honest here, if you buy it at full retail you will cry when you go to sell it.

They are impressive, but I'd wait to get a decent discount.
