Help needed: is this submariner tt 16613 authentic
I have the intention to buy this pre owned sub tt 16613 from some one, but after looking at the pictures he sent me, I begin to doubt its authenticity.
The serial number on the watch matches the certificate, but the wording on the dial face showed "SWISS - T < 25". I understand for a 2006 year make rolex (D series and the seller confirmed it is 2006 model) should'nt the wordings be just SWISS MADE ? Your comments will be much appreciated. Thanks and cheers. The T25 means that the lumemarkers are filled with tritium. Rolexquit using tritium on the end of 90s. The model you´re looking at should have luminova markers with swiss made on the bottom or just "swiss" if the dial has been changed.

It could have been a black dialed 16613 originally but had the dial changed to an older blue one. Or vice-versa?? It might still be an all authentic Rolex, but not the way it came from Rolex. Does your paper work show the dial color?
