Unlikely 1st piece without insane luck. I’m trying pretty aggressively and I’m hearing two to three years.

5968A is a very sought after piece and 2 years waiting is not too bad.

Just like everything else sports themed you have to either spend several hundred thousand with your AD or have pictures of him screwing a hooker.

If you have to ask, fat chance.

which is exactly why you can't get one at an AD.

I love the watch, but it should be more polarizing than it is...orange 42mm and an aquanaut (rubber) which tends to not be of what people think of with they think of patek. The premium has way more people after it than actually like it

Believe me after wearing it for 2 months straight, it is fab, even your friend who tends to flip when he doesn't like his watches seems to love his also, and I like the fact it can be outlandish on an orange strap, but prefer to fly under the radar so not been brave enough for that

And as for premium on the grey market it will come down in the end when everyone thinks they can make 17k on top of retail

Remember the? I asked, if you had the choice would u flip this ?

Love it on the blue and/or black strap. If I owned a 5968A, I am pretty sure the orange strap would remain mint.

It's blue, black was on there for 2 hours max, and u will go orange soon, but would rather fly under the radar than scream

A tasteful compliment to subtle styling of the Aquanaut.

i would keep it if i had it. the 5164 is the only reason i didn't jump all over it the day it was announced and got in line. For some reason i can't bring myself to sell the 64 but i would probably prefer the 5968

Just double check the chrono, I've heard of 3 including my own where the second hand didn't realign properly

i think i am the flipper friend:::))) yes i like the 5968A a lot although it is too big for me. at this point i try to convince myself that it does not matter because it is a super sporty watch. i sold the 5524G for the same reason but it felt differently....you guys just have no idea what pain in the neck a thin wrist can be....
at this point i am not selling, i think the value will stay up anyway so i might just wait and see how it goes. i sold two watches too many already, the 5980AR and the 5712R and i do not want to make the same mistake again. btw, i have no regrets about selling the 5524G and the 5227R.
anyway, if someone here wants to swap his 5740G for my 5968A, we can talk:::)))

Lol on the swap deal,

And yor the man with the beads,

I did ask how big your wrist is, as it does look tiny, no disrespect, maybe the depth of the 5968 sits to high especially as its 11.8 I believe, maybe the thinness of the 5167 would suit,, but also might be to plain for you

It's all fun and games this watch wearing business, at least you have gave it a good run

16,5cm wrist circumference....the 5167 is too plain but 5164 would be ok. anyway, i never had an issue with nautilus, so in case you have a 5740 to swap and want a second 5968 (this time on an orange strap) just be my guest:::)))

I actually dont like the 5740 and got offered them at retail, and I'm sure I could still grab it

And come march mine will be on the orange strap, but for how long who knows

Yep the 5167 is plain, so proper flys under the radar, well it did until all the jokers wearing tt rolex clocked on grrr

I knew this was coming from you. I have the same curse, bottom line you have to stick to stuff that fits. I made this mistake too many times and now practice much better decision
Making - from the fit perspective anyways. 5164 is the largest to fit and 11/12 work great. This is why
I don’t look seriously at 5990 and 59801r, two I’d love to own.
