New Sub or Batman
Just wanting some thoughts from the forum. I'm a new forum member and I'm trying to decide between another sub or gmt batman. I've had three subs ( two tone black, black and the Kermit) and enjoyed all three.
I sold the Kermit a while back and made a great profit from original purchase and used it partially toward another investment ('17 M3) Things have settled and I'm looking between another sub or the gmt batman to which I have never owned one. Thanks to all |

Since you never had the GMT, why not go for the Batman? But if you are comparing Hulk and Batman, then I would prefer Hulk.

It sounds like the Subs didn’t stick ... I’d go try on a BLNR or an LN and see how you like them.

Having previously owning three subs, why not take a different route this time and go GMT?

Great first post. What a dilema to have. My vote is the GMT

I’ve had the Batman for 3 months and I look at it (as you do) and just don’t think it looks as good as the Sub ( I have the 16610). I think the glossy pictures of the batman look better than the real life version.

You're investing in a 2017 BMW M3? Not sure how that''s an investment

I vote for the GMT, but that's because I'm partial to that function over the divers.

I have a BLNR and SubC... Between the 2 I choose the BLNR... In fact the SubC is probably my least worn watch in my collection.

GMT over Sub
I have the BLNR and really like it but the glossy pictures do make it look incredible nice -maybe a bit too much. Do have a look in real life before buying so no regrets. I have none!

I love the Submariner, have a 116610LN but between the BLNR and 114060, the GMT gets my vote.

I'm going to wait on the new sub date. Basel 18, my guess is a new movement, same case as the new SD? Thanks to all!

I would go with the Submariner-C ND 114060. Perfectly balanced dial and the Submariner seems to work for you. Save some funds over the Submariner Date or the BLNR.

IMHO, GMT is a more functional watch. That would be my call.

I would get the one you have not owned yet, which would be the Batman.
Should hold your attention a bit longer I suppose versus another sub. |

I'm reading that you still have two subs...if that's the case, I would go with the GMT.
I would go to a dealer and try a few on, however. There may be something else out there. |

Branch out - get a GMT.
At the end of the day, it’s very similar to the Sub from a look and feel stand point - dial, plots, bezel style... so your not risking much. |

I’d go sub too. I have a blur, a hulk and a subc. Sub would still win for me (prob black).

I generally say Submariners are the best investment, but if you're debating between a Batman and a Sub, I'd say Batman.

First thing I'd do is check out the PCL's and see if that's something you could do regularly. I have both, but purchased an extra 97200 bracelet for my BLNR. I thought the PCL's would grow on me, but they didn't.
