Patek 6006g
I am surprised at how little fanfare there is for the 6006. I always liked 6000, especially the blue and brown dial variant, but not the small case size. That was taken care of with the introduction of the 6006 which upsized the case to 39mm.
My AD put my name on one after Basel last year (actually I was the only one) and it was delivered just before Thanksgiving. For me, the dial is great, coming across as multi-level with all the different finishes. The case is also quite sleek, making it exceptionally comfortable on the wrist. My guess is it one of the least popular new releases given the lack posts about it. |

great watch
I've tried it on a couple of times now. I quite like it and i would get that one probably if i was in the market for a dressy watch. I think it is very versatile as most of the calatravas are far to formal for me to ever wear, but not this one. |

I quite like it too. From a distance. But there's something about the dial that just doesn't sing to me when I get up close.

Is a great looking watch. I tried it on a couple of times..But in the end I went for a FPJ CB..I know both looks completely different, however I felt the same kind of versatility in both of them.

Thanks for the comments.
I agree the watch is more versatile than other Calatravas. The downside IMO is that is not a true dress watch with the more casual dial. |

I tried it a few weeks ago and I loved it. I just couldn't justify getting it yet since I got my Day Date last year and I'm in "the list" for a 5711. Maybe in the future... I do like that it is so casual.
