I'm not an expert but always thought instead of being stamped 18k, it was stamped 750. Also thought it had other hallmark stamps on the back of the case. I would say this is a fake.

Looks like gold plating is coming off of the case back. I'd say fake.

Ugly fake. The color of the plating is terrible and nowhere near a close match to gold. FAIL.
