Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force
Does anyone own one? Can someone talk me out of this?
I found one and lined up a 1 of 10 Kari Voutilainen dial in blue. But I’m still learning about the brand. The gravity equal force is pretty smart. I may be too far down the independent rabbit hole. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by ChaseATX; 26 May 2020 at 01:47 PM.. Reason: Typo |

I am sorry but that is an amazing watch so can’t talk you out of it. The only thing I can say is it may be a little thick, would love to see one in person.

Take a breather. You’re on a roll and so far it looks like all pretty smart choices. At some point if you keep up this pace you’ll buy some doozies....so take a step back.
Hard pass for me on this one. There is zero refinement in that piece, unlike the pieces you’ve shared recently. |

Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force
I’ve watched this brand for some time, and want to like it...but I think you should pass. I’ve seen some of the things you’ve added recently, and you are putting together an impressive collection.
I would wait for an actual Kari piece rather than go for a Kari-dialed Armin. Also, take a look at a Kari-dialed Gronefeld. Just my two cents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The equal force design is laudable.
But... It doesn’t make any practical sense for a watch to be so accurate if it has a dial that obscures reading said accuracy. For the 5 minutes transiting the 35-40 minutes after each hour, one would have no idea what the true time is. A niggle perhaps, but if the maker wanted precision at the top of his movement list, then equal attention to the dial is expected. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Great feedback. I think I can remove this from consideration. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
