Hi TRF,
I recently acquired an old 1675 caseback on eBay and wanted to ask for an opinion about the "111.67" stamp on the inside of it. Everything I've researched online has "11.67" as the usual stamp instead of the three 1's. The picture for the "11.67" stamp is from an HQ Milton 1675 ad as a reference.

I've exhausted all the research on this and need some professional opinion on the difference if anyone knows.

Probably fake.....the writing on HQ caseback is much deeper and stamped more professional...totally different from your caseback

That's what concerning to me as well since all of the "11.67" stamps have much deeper engraving. Would love to get more opinions about this as this came from what looks like a very reputable eBay seller.

How many more opinions are necessary before one determines that the case back doesn't appear correct?
