Greenish patina instead of yellow

Hi all, I’ve been looking at a new vintage watch circa early 90s. The lumes have a slight green hues I read of the common yellow hue. Any concerns? I did a quick search and there seemed to be reports that this could be due to moisture exposure. The green seemed uniformed on all markers, except the hands. The hands are turning yellowish. Any input is appreciated!!

Green is unlikely. The dial or the hands could have been changed, thats why they could be different . Pictures will help.

Same here. Look at the 1 vs 2 o'clock marker. There is a slight difference too. But who would relume like that? a bluish greenish color.... Have you asked the seller ?

Or is is tritium service dial with luminova (some tritium service dials are actually luminova) AND it has been hit by good light. That is the shade you often see on that type dial.

That’s what I thought too but the dealer said the lume is no longer there when the lights are turned off. Do the greenish hue is always there, and no shine in the dark....

Original or not, it's not appealing to me.

It should be a tritium service dial, with luminova.

My coke is 1991 white markers and hands. Nothing glows.....if something glows it’s service or maybe luminova relumed....

There are only two possibilities. It has been relumed or it is a luminova dial marked as a tritium dial (SWISS T <25). Original tritium dials from that era did not have a green tint as depicted on the dial. If it is a genuine luminova dial marked as tritium, it would definitely glow in the dark.
