PAM01111

I know this ref was skewered for "in-house" debacle and limited water resistantance, but all that is immaterial in the metal.

A few thoughts... this is a dress watch, plain and simple. I can see why they went with the slimmer ETA now, the full in-house movements are considerably chunkier. This wears much thinner and more elegant.

The watch is surprising subtle, the rose gold is much more mellow than the pictures would suggest. The blue dial is also darker and doesn't shout. The decision to put the chrono pushers opposite the crown card gives a nice balance. I'd say, incongruously, it wears smaller than a normal Luminor case. Love it!

PamPorkies aside, that's a lovely lolling piece. I wouldn't worry about the baggage either. That's about the company owners. The watch is great.

Couldn't figure out what that special imprint was until I realised it was your phone

Watch looks great and seems to be fit well for purpose - Enjoy

Beautiful watch. Just picked up an 1114 and, being my first Panerai, am amazed at its looks.
Congrats!

Great choice! I considered that ref, but the chrono won me over. I got my first and only Panerai in 2015 (pam00531). Sold it recently, went Rolex and VC heavy, missed the style... And you know the rest.

Ya, I also think the watch is great and a lovely piece as this just has to wear perfectly on the wrist...

Congratulations! It's become fashionable to bash Panerai these days. It's still a great brand and its a great watch.
