Dunno...perhaps they don't have one in Platinum?

You would think for that price a deployment would be standard.

I really don’t like pin and buckle straps that much. Much prefer the deployment buckles.

I'm no metallurgist, however perhaps precious metals don't hold up well for Omega deployants?

Lovely watch. Can you confirm the clasp is White-Gold, and does it have an engraved model number?

Thanks.

I realise that the dial is not 'traditional' black but this silver dial looks spectacular in person.

I first saw this model on the full WG bracelet. Fabulous! But couldn't run to that so grabbed this version on the strap when I saw it.

Yes. I can confirm the clasp is WG (Omega's proprietary Canopus gold) and hallmarked as such.

Looks great. Yet another watch we both have. U have great taste. Lol. Any suggestions for a strap or bracelet on this one that can handle humidity and heat of middle ga? I would wear this one and my apollo 8 more often if on rubber. Thanks.

Thanks mate! We surely do have some very good shared tastes!

I have one of the two rubber straps that Tag makes for this watch. The one I have is the tire tread one, and I’ll take some pics later and share them. There is also another they make, that I haven’t tried, that is smooth rubber. I’m trying to see if the new bracelet that is on the most recent Monaco will fit this model too.

In the mean time, I’m enjoying a nice smoke, a good book and my Spectre….

Can’t wait to see that. He does incredible work!

Is that the leather lined with rubber? That strap looks excellent on that watch!

Yes sir.

It’s the 21mm fitted leather/rubber that comes on the 43.5mm Planet Oceans.

I had one, and stole this strap off of it, and mated it with my Spectre. I love the way it classes up the piece.

I had to use curved 21mm spring bars if I recall correctly, but it fits perfectly.

Enjoy my friend. I thought about selling my monaco, but I think otherwise now, especially if a tag rubber strap or even the new bracelet will fit, making it where I would wear more in hot months. Look fwd to the pics. Have a great one.

Wearing my all time favorite today-

One of the first 2500 PO's delivered in May 2005, and a watch I still thoroughly enjoy on a regular basis. :)
