Went to the AD to get a GV..BUT

I ended up falling in love with something else...i could NOT pass it up...i havent felt love like this in a while...all i can say is WOW! this might get moved...but I wanted to share! I LOVE THIS WATCH! brand new BREITLING COLT II AUTOMATIC BLACK DIAL!!!!!! what a beauty at 41mm..black dial is gorgeous..LUME IS AMAZING..movement is COSC and very accurate so far. the "colt" in red...it just caught my eye..and i fell in love! the high polish case/bracelet...i just couldnt walk away without it..so here she is.
sorry for the crappy iphone pics, but i was so excited to share her with you! i included a stock photo to make up for it a bit. I finally figured it out at the AD when I tried the gv and the breitling colt II on side by side...i just had to go with the one i loved..and also..this is the same model watch worn by john travolta in "taking of peltham 123!" which was cool as hell to see the scene...

It's not hard to fall in love with a Breitling! My favourite at the moment, is the SuperOcean with blue dial. They do make a beautiful watch. That Colt looks great. I love the markers. The PRO II bracelet is great as well. And the 41mm size is excellent. They do make some of the best looking mens' watches IMHO.
I also find that the stainless steel bezel, with the four rider tabs give excellent protection to the case and crystal. And with the all stainless bezel like that, it is no problem if it gets a few scratches or dings. Unlike the painted ones.
Enjoy the Breitling!
Cheers ,
Carl

Congratulations Justin!
IMO you sometimes need a Breitling (or a PO?) for that little bit more 'wrist-presence' on occasion.

Justin, I have to say that, in general, I dislike Breitling, but in this case you picked a winner! I love how uncluttered the dial is, oh and that second hand! Enjoy it.

Bit too Blingy for me Breitling, as they do like to polish their watches up, but they do make good a good watch though.

Good choice, Justin!!

I have a white dial Colt Auto (older version, not the II), which was my first 'nice' watch. I love it and still wear it often.

I also picked up the black dial Colt Quartz last summer. It's a great watch, super accurate, brushed case & bracelet, and has an 8 year battery!

Also have two Superoceans (yellow dial older one, and a coral dial newer one).

Enjoy!!

Great looking watch, congrats! I'm actually thinking about getting either that exact model or the GMT with the black dial. I've heard that Breitling ADs offer nice discounts...unfortunately there are 0 ADs in my state that carry Breitling.

Very nice! That's a huge change going from a GV to a Breitling Colt. Congrats!

I bought my wife the women's version a couple of years ago and she loves it.
