Pam 390

Hi all

I have been offered this watch from a family friend at a great price of £3000 considering its rare and in mint condition, it is number 390 out of limited edition of 2000. I tried it on and am slightly worried it is too big for my small wrist but it seemed okay. What do you think?

Clearly a great series number for a 390...

Thanks guys.

They seem to be fetching a premium now? Seems like to get a second hand one commands a higher price than an initial new purchase.

It's a really beautiful reference. If the price is good for you and you like it, why not!

That is a stellar deal and the best number to have. 390/2000 on a Pam 390.

That is only $4900. They are going for $6000 used.

Bargain. Don't miss it. If you think it is too big I'll buy it ;-)

Sorry a bit of a misunderstanding, it's actually 1160 out of 2000. I'm still itching to pull the trigger!

Thanks for your comments all.

To be honest I'm still in 2 minds, £3000 is still plenty of money (although I know he is giving me a great price) - is this piece a must have? Its likely to be my only Panerai.

I already own 2 Rolexes (Sub and Datejust), 2 Omegas (1948 London Seamaster, vintage de ville), 2 Breitlings (colt automatic II, Chrono cockpit) and 2 Tags (Monaco, F1).

Decisions...decisions!

It would be a great choice for your only Panerai. IMHO. Also, if you don't like it and want to sell it, then you probably won't be out too much money.

Thanks. I would never sell it as it is a family friend who is selling it to me hence the great price. I would only sell it back to him if I were to sell it - I respect that he would like to keep it in the family and for me to make a profit on it would be wrong.

As said already, great watch at a great price. I'm not sure you will go wrong here. As for it being your only Pam: are you ok getting one sans a second hand? If so, pull the trigger.

Icon17 Here she is....

Decided to pull the trigger and am glad I did!

Firstly I would like to say big thank you to the seller, he gave me an amazing deal and I promise to look after it

Just a quick question, are the hands actually made out of gold?

It is a surprisingly comfortable watch considering its size - some pics to enjoy...
