Club Dues - PAM 312

Just brought home a 312 from DavidSW. Ive been eying a Panerai for years and am very happy with the choice. I wanted the in-house movement with exhibition back while staying fairly basic so perfect choice.
I would really appreciate a little wisdom re strap size and any staple straps you can recommend. Also, Im seing 24/22 for the straps. Im guessing thats the width for the 312. Is the following number the length? I have a 7 3/4 wrist so the standard strap seems almost a little short. Thanks for any input.

Yeah, it would be short on your wrist at 7 3/4". Need a large OEM or a custom aftermarket.

7.5" flat wrist here, I like the vintage "tail" look & my preferred size is right around 145/85.

congrats! A great watch that I enjoyed. 24/22 refers to the lug/tail widths.

Standard OEM is 24/22 115/75. That means the strap width is 24mm at the lugs and tapers to 22mm at the buckle. The other two measurements are the lengths of each part of the strap. There are XL OEM straps which may be more to your liking. They generally are something closer to 24/22 125/95. Best thing is to try out different sizes, but be careful. Strap shopping is addictive

It sounds like buying pants now, waist size & inseam! Who would have thought?
Anyway, one if the suggestions had a different ration of the 2 pieces. Why would that matter it the sum of the parts is longer?

Strap buying is serious stuff. :D
The long piece measurement effects tail length and the short piece effects buckle placement on the wrist. This matters more when vintage flat style or meaty buckles are used.
