Pam 317

Had a 275 a while ago.
Missed the dial, crystal, lume, and the button on the bottom left.
So picked up a 317 recently.

No, not the PVD movement.
My 317 is from the newest series.

When I got my K series 275 a while back, the K series 317 with the PVD movement was available, but the issues with that movement kept me away. Plus, wasn't sure then about having an all-black watch.

The shiny bezel on the 275 easily picked up minor marks.
Hopefully the 317 ceramic bezel will remain unblemished.

I don't know the specifics about issues with the PVD movement, perhaps others here do.
But Panerai stopped coating the movement after I believe that first series.

Not afraid to wear my 317

Ceramic bezel means I can travel with watch, not worry about luggage or anything else marking the watch!

Nothing beats a 44mm 1950 case with domed crystal... except a 47mm 1950 case with domed sapphire... the proportions are better but love both
