I think you're mistaken. Rolex's were worn by plenty of porn stars in the 70's, they couldn't afford an AP.

Would you look at that... somehow Grand Seiko came up in a thread that has nothing to do with them. Golly, that never happens.

I'd have to take the AP. That bracelet is just something else!

Haha. That’s so true.

Negative. The blue in the video is 15400 - 41mm Royal Oak. Watch again :)

I’m going to put AP against Grand Seikos Zaratsu Polish very soon. So stay tuned. :)

Why do we continue to compare AP to Rolex on this forum daily now? This is almost as bad as talking about the shortage non stop and AD's.

AP is a far superior watch and it's not even close.

And if detail differences can only really be seen under a loop, I'm a bit unsure if they are all that important.

Both really nice watches obviously, but I don't get the comparison.
you are confusing a sports watch (very broad category) and a professional watch (more specialized subset of sports watches)

its a sports watch absolutely.

sports means less formal. Whats "sports" about a sports jacket? nothing, its more casual than a tux

there is zero about it that meets any criteria for a formal IE dress watch. The watch was created in the first place to popularize luxury casual (sports) watches
