I had a RG CE Daytona but think you are giving up too much, unless PM is a quench you just have to slake.

I am not aware of the value of the VC in the preowned market. If the numbers line up and it is what you want to do, then go for it. My thoughts are is the sum of one worth two. If it is for you, then you have the answer.

Thanks guys. Just wanted to check with the wise members on this forum before making any hasty decisions. I currently have a lot of SS sports watches and nothing in PM. The VCO is a great watch but I also have an AP RO 15400. I used to love the Hulk but it doesn’t get much wrist time after adding the SS BLRO on jubilee. The one thing that is holding me back is that I’m not a big fan of rose gold. I think I would have gone along with the trade if it was for either the white or yellow gold version.

Money-wise it doesn't make sense at all, given current market values.

Why not a PM model on a bracelet vs OF?

Bad move!

(That RG Daytona looks dismal and ugly as hell, when compared with Blue Overseas+Hulk.)

That would entail a lot more $$$s vs a even trade in this case. ;)

I wouldn't. OF Daytona can be had anytime, not that rare. I'd wait and add but not give up those two.

No. Not a fan at all of PM sport watches. PM belongs on dress watches. Daytona was/is a sport watch, and ss is part of its original DNA. Sure the PM adds a nice look at me factor, but it’s not a dress watch.
