16753 Dial question

Am looking at a 1979 16753 with nipple dial.

It has had a lot of work with dial and bracelet ( has a non-correct later clasp) changes.

Dial is marked ‘swiss made’. Cannot find anything about these dials in forum search, only ‘Swiss’ dials.

So has anyone come across ‘Swiss made’ nipple dials, and if so will it be luminova?

I haven't come across any 16753 dials marked SWISS MADE for the GMT 16753. Original, non service nipple dials were marked T SWSS T.

Not seen it.
This model transitioned with the nipple dial and then began production with the SWISS - T<25 dial with the Gold Surround. As you mentioned, you can also find them with SWISS but with the large surround again on the 16753. What is interesting about the Ebay example is that it resembles a 16713 minute track with markings off the edge. I guess there could be a Picasso for everything..
