16610 lv

Hi guys,

Look at this reference for this green sub 2007.

This should be 16610lv instead of 16610t right?

.

A 16610lv is also a 16610T.

16610T is the complete ref# of 16610 cases without lug holes.

All 16610's with non-through lugs have 16610 T on the case. The T is for "Trou", French for hole, referencing the blind-hole.

A 16610LV will never have LV anywhere on the case; they are all 16610 models with only the cosmetic dial, bezel, and hands to differentiate them

Not in all countries many countries just LV on the green plastic bar-code tag, and no other way to determine a genuine LV from a franken normal 16610 made into a LV unless a serial check with Rolex. .

Most all Rolex oyster watches with non lug hole cases will have the T after model ref.

And to be even more complete, “Trou borgne” is due to one hole on the internal lug side, while the external side has no lug hole, like a “borgne” (one-eyed person in French)

Padi you are right. I think it's like the DS blue. Some cards will list blue and ref # and others just the Ref #. Thanks for setting the record straight.
