Incoming...and a question about a mod

picked up the BLNR today. Very happy. Like the blue in general and how the third hand blends in but thought a red gmt hand might give it more pop. Wondering if anyone tried this mod- good or garish?!?
Thx

Congrats! Feel free to give the red hand a try, but definitely wouldn't be my choice.

I’m not generally opposed to personalizing watches(generally frowned on in Rolex World), but I think a red hand on the all blue themed BLNR would look terribly out of place.

Congrats. A red hand would absolutely ruin this watch for me. But it is your property.

Well, it would look a little like an old Blueberry GMT. Personally, I think the least appealing thing about the Blueberry was the mismatched red GMT hand. At least the one in the pic has nice creamy indexes to match the red a little better, but a modern GMT will never get that patina.

Your watch so do as you please. Beside, if you end up not liking it you can reverse it.

Adds a another color to the mix, which in my opinion would stand out too much. The beauty of the blue is it matches the bezel and almost fades into the background when telling the primary time, but is there if you need the function of multiple time zones.

Most of the mods I've seen with that watch involve brushing the PCL's...don't think I've seen the red second hand before. That's not to say it couldn't or shouldn't be done, however...

If you do it, post some pics and make sure you keep the original parts.

Anyway, congrats!

Thanks for the pic! It does stand out & not in a good way. I’ll keep it stock for now

Congrats! The blue hand works on this one. I have nothing against mods, but not in this case.

Can you find a yellow GMT hand? That might look cool.

firstly i must congratulate you but the red would make the quality a bit poor.
