Up for sale is complete set vintage Datejust. This set comes with all boxes, papers, tags, bracelet links, etc. This watch has a grey tapestry dial, engine turned bezel, open 6's and 9's on all dates (6,9,16,19,26,29), correctly dated jubilee bracelet with 555B endlinks and a holes case.

Watch keeps accurate time and quick set date works as it should. Model and serial numbers clearly visible between lugs.

Movement was serviced (ultrasonically cleaned/oiled) in 2018 by Fine Swiss Watch Repair in Chicago - the receipt will be included. Kent is one of the only Rolex trained, certified master watchmakers in the city. The case was not polished during the service. Movement photos taken when case back off prior to cleaning/service. Also, the Rolex bracelet has been 2018 serviced by Michael Young in Hong Kong to tighten up stretch typical of older jubilees.

L228XXX serial number dates to 1989 - this is likely one of the very first of its kind produced!
